Dog Days Are Over

Has happiness hit you lately? “Like a train on a track, with no turning back?” I recently heard this song on Glee (and also on the preview for the film, “Eat Pray Love”) and I’ve fallen in love with the song. I thought it would only be fitting that I share it with you considering how the song revolves around happiness and the power of it.
Don’t run away from what will make you happy any longer. Maybe you are denying what will make you truly happy; out of guilt, out of fear, out of security, or out of comfort. But none of those things lead to happiness. They lead to numbness. Take a chance on being happy—even if the thought of it scares you to death. Let it take you by surprise and show you a new side of life that you’ve never seen before.
Let the dog days be over…

Keep shining,
