Happy with Harry

You might live on another planet if you don’t know that the Harry Potter Premiere happens at midnight tonight. Who knew that the “boy who lived” could create such a phenomenon? And one that could last over 10 years? I know that Harry has given me a great deal of happiness—he is the epitome of goodness, courage, and selflessness—a true Gryffindor. (Wow, you know Harry Potter has to be a big deal when Microsoft Word doesn’t even spell check “Gryffindor”).
People are counting down the hours until Harry arrives on scene to save the day once more. I can’t say that I will be out in the cold tonight with my wizard robes and wand but I definitely plan on seeing it within this next week. How can you not resist the epic music that sounds like the world is coming to an end and the dark camera shots that make you think that humanity has lost all hope?
I think J.K. Rowling is one of the most brilliant authors of our time. The plotline of her story is impeccable—never predictable and perfectly timed. I’ve read all of the books but the last two were my favorite; such page turners. Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or not, you have to admire her success as an author, especially from such humble beginnings.
I know many of you will be extremely happy when the clock strikes 12:01 a.m. tonight. Here’s to you, Harry!
Keep shining,
The Sunny Girl, Lauren Cook

    2. Sitting on Janss steps: So collegiate.

    3. Classes: Yes! I was able to enroll in the classes I needed.

    4. Brownies: Ooey gooey frosting makes my day.

    5. Music: I’m going through a faze where I’m absolutely obsessed with Snow Patrol. Over and over yet it never gets old.
